Between years 2004 to 2013 European Scouts an excellent Project which make European Scouts know each other make connections and share their traditions three type of Project made by hundreds nd a day ofg competition introduced for a couple years As every year, the Region is offered to  Scouts (aged 11-15) from all European associations the possibility to participate in the “Lands of Adventure Day” challenges. Discovering the international dimension of Scouting (without leaving home!) and testing the creativity of Scouts are the main focuses of this very popular European event (with more than 1’000 participants every year). The Lands of Adventure Day 2011 is organized between the 18th and the 20th of March and   year’s theme was “Local History”… We participated as two patrol from Boran Guide and Scout Grop . Our chicken patrol   was one of them İn this Challenge there were two tasks   TASK ONE To make the the coat of arm of the town where Scouts living ¤      It was a difficult task but we were well prepared. Dried mint leaves for green. We glued black tiny poppy seeds on all lines of castle and ribbon, then wrote the name of town wirh seeds . First applying glue and poured the seeds on the glue. Best part of it was a young baby corn imported from Thiland. Columns made by paper. And found out the story of the coat of arm ¤      We also searched Vila Cova Barcelos to get the theme of the coat of arm. We found a monumant but not detailed information. We will ask it to patrols in Vila Cova in Portugal. May be we make a EURhopping with them and learn more. Now we only know that: Portuguese parish, located in the municipality of Barcelos. In his dream, a holy voice told him to look for an ANCHOR and to build up a new city where he founds it. Then King Midas and his men searched everywhere to find the anchor. Finally they found the ANCHOR under a tree and begun to construct the city. Of course the city was named after the ANCHOR. As centuries goes by the name of the city has transformed into ANKARA, the capital city of the Republic of Turkiye. Now ANKARA is one of the third biggest cities of Turkey with more than 4 million residents, skyscrapers, parks, historical and modern places. The King Midas is now resting in peace in Gordion, an other ancient city founded by him near Ankara. The King Midas was also famous of his huge ears and changing everything to gold by touching.   Itwas a really a day filled with fun and achievement and The y get the first place on this competition.   TURKISH TRANSLATION 2004 -2012 Yılları arasında Avrupa zci teşkilatları çok güzel bir projeyi birbirlerini tanımak temaslar sağlamak birlikte başarıları yaşamak için çok güzel hazırlanmış bir ptojeyi yaptılar. Bunun yanında her  yıl Avrupa izci hareketi bölgesi onlara bir de yarışma sundu. Birkaç obamız bu yarışmaya 2011 yılında katıldı. Ankara Boran izci grubunun civciv obası da katılanlar rasındaydıç  18 Mart – 20 mart günleri arsında yapılan etkinlikte kendilerine gönderilen Portekiz Vİla Cov izci obasının armasını yaptılar İlk görev iki aşamalı idi. İlk aşamada  tamamen doğal maddelerle  Vila Cove kasabasının  arması yapıldı. Yeşil alanlar kıyılmış maydanozlarla, yazılar haşhaş tohumundan, sütünlar kağıttan ve mısır koçanı se hakiki mısır koçanı kullanılarak yapıldı.  Ankara botanik bahçesinde bu ş tamamlandı   Bu arada bu armanın da hikayesi geliştirildi. Vila Cove hakkında pek fazla bilgi yoktu. Şehrin tarihi eserler yanında tarımda ileri bir yer olduğu anlaşılıyordu. Bu yerleşimin 1970 nüfuslu ve 10 kilometre karelik bir yer olduğunu çürendik İkinci ödev ise ankaranın kuruşu ve adını alacağı bir öykünün yazılıp oynanmasını gerektiriyordu  Frigya Kralı Midasa atfen bir öykü uyduruldu ve başatrı ile oynandı bunları da resimlerde görüyorsunuz   Macera ülkelerinin ilk üç proje çeşidi iptal edilmesine rağmen barış habercileri günü önümüzdeki yıllarda da devam edecek
