Kichu Temple

"Cleanliness Is near to Godliness" We the Scouts of Paro, Bhutan adopted Kichu temple which is one of the most ancient and sacred place frequently visited by many tourists from all over the world. It was built in the 7th century by the Tibetan Emperor Songtsan Gampo which is considered to be one of the Four Border Taming Temples he built. In the 8th century the temple was visited by Guru Padmasambhava and it is believed he concealed many spiritual treasures here. So we the scouts of Paro, Bhutan took the initiative and adopted the temple to make sure that the sacredness and the beauty of the temple remains undiminished. We made dustbins, flower gardens and many more.
