Khangma Watershed Management
It is often found that the people around the community take it for a blame game to not clean their water sources and irrigation waters. Thus to make them understand the importance of the water, the project was carried.
The project was carried out at Khangma, Kanglung, Trashigang till Yongphula source. We cleaned the water passage drains and cleared buahes around the drains to help people have continuous and big water supply for agriculture.
The people of the community will get continuous and big water as the water flow was brought to one drainage after we mader water ways and water will not flow in different direction.
We learned that water flows can be bigger and healthier with a proper drainage and we can make a change by doing small things. We also learned that this kind of services can bring peace in the communities and can create a huge impact to build a strong nation.
