Scouts in Action Week is an Australian wide initiative where all Joey Mobs, Cub Pack, Scout Troops, Venturer Units and Rover Crews participate in programs with the same theme.This year Scouts in Action Week was about getting out into the community and partnering with other community organisations to complete a project or activity. The Kaurna Cub Pack made Shoe Boxes of Love. The idea behind Shoe Boxes of Love is to provide love, hope and support to those that are affected by a disaster, through the provision of shoe box size boxes of essential and luxury items. All youth members were involved in the activity, many writing thoughtful notes to the children in need.
