Jeevan bachao -blood donation campaign
Since the International Peace Day is knocking at the door, through culture of peace and for the celebrations, a Blood Donation Camp was organized. Blood Donation is a very important service that can be rendered in the society for a noble cause as there are many people in the world who face the crisis of blood. Hence, this was our motivation to undertake this project in order to serve our community in a better way.
Members of Rajasthan Rajya Bharat Scouts and Guides, Sikar District Association, dr. bheemrav Ambedkar open rovar crew thoi, initiated the Blood Donation Camp on 6nd August 2023 at ajitgarh area in which around 130 Scouts Guides, Rovers, Rangers and Unit Leaders participated actively. 45 members donated blood voluntarily in this event. Through this blood donation camp, local people of ajitgarh area joined hands with us and we imparted knowledge to them on Blood Donation. Also, through poster making, local awareness was created in which the people of the area got benefitted
Through this project, we have learned that Blood Donation is very important as saving lives is very important. "Donate Blood for a noble cause". We would definitely try to involve more blood donors next time.
