Scouts of Balochistan Boy Scouts (Pakistan Boy Scouts) in solidarity with the local workers and labourers on "International Workers Day, 1st May 2017" . On this day scouts spend their day with the local workers and distribute different food items among them, to make them feel equally valued like any other citizen of the country. 1st May is a public holiday in Pakistan and in other countries as well. All government and non-government organizations, factories and educational institutions remain closed. It is important to note that Pakistan became a member of the International Labour Organization (ILO) right after its independence in 1947. The ILO is a United Nations (UN) specialized agency that promotes social justice and universally acknowledged human and social rights.
