08th of March is observed as international women's day, world wide with the theme 'balance of better'. As per the directives from Multi Sectoral Task Force and Community Based Support System, RENEW of Bhutan, I was to coordinate this very event along with School Health Coordinator. To observe the day, it was planned in 2018. And two health officals from Dagapela Hospital were invited to talk on importance of physical and mental health of Women. 

Firstly, upon the request of my school's principal, all the lady staff in my school to dress in pink dresses. There were involvement of 324 girl students, 17 lady staff and 21 ladies from nearby community. This day was just not celebrate but to create awreness among the girl community. There were presentations on domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, ill effects of tobacco and alochol and pap-smear screening by the school health committee and the health officals.
