On the auspicious ocassion of International Day of Peace cum 62nd Group Day Celebration, South Group of Kanchrapara District under Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides has succesfully organised an AWARENESS CAMPAIGN on SAY NO TO PLASTIC. In this awareness campaign, Scouts,guides,rovers,rangers and adult leaders have actively taken part. They have distributed hand made PAPER BAGS to the shopkeepers, vegetable sellers and hokers of "ALSE BAZAAR" to create more and more awareness. They have educated the shopkeepers not to use PLASTIC BAG, instead use PAPER BAGS or CLOTH BAGS as PLASTIC is very much harmful for the environment.
