On 21st september, 2019 Dechheling Lower secondary school under pemagatshel dzongkhag observed international peace day at school assembly ground in an open space. All the teachers and students gathered at 8:00am and began the program by lighting butter lamp for the world peace followed by being silient for 3 minutes. Including staffs and students, 290 participants took part in observing this very important global day. The day was innitiated and lead by the scout leaders and members of the school. The program includes; reading the messages of Un secretary general, Talk on the significance of the day, cultural program, mass cleaning and adoption of bambo and plant saplings.
