International Finnjamboree 2016 - Roihu

International Finnjamboree 2016 - Roihu

Roihu 2016 is also 7th International Finnjamboree to be held in Evo camp site in Southern Finland, near the town Hämeenlinna. Camp starts on 20 July 2016 and ends on 28 July 2016. Here is a video filmed on the camp site, telling story of Finnish scouting: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbdmj5PRYe4 (scouting is a life and an adventure). All participants will have a programme of their own age group: trackers (12-15 year olds), explorers (15-17 year olds) and rovers (18-22). Of course there are also several joint activities for the whole camp such as opening and closing ceremonies and a big campfire (Roihu!). We also invite leaders, rovers and explorers to contribute to the camp programme. There are also staff positions available. Right now, Roihu is made by the extended camp committee. For Finnish local groups Roihu is displayed from autumn 2015 onwards. For participating scouts from abroad, instructions for enrollment will come to this site in time for the next year. Flights can be booked 360 days before departure, so there is still plenty of time to plan a trip to Finland. You are welcome to have a experience of your life! We are looking forward to you at Roihu 2016! For more information please contact our International team: international@roihu2016.fi
