International Day of PeaceEnd Racism, Build Peace

Participated to celebrate and observe the International Day of Peace in school to promote peace.

IDP was observed and celebrated at the school MP hall with banners and posters, the program was spearheaded by scout leaders. The program was kicked off by staying silent for a few minutes to send prayers and wishes to the victims of racism, a speech on IDP by the Scout leader, a play on racism, and dance and yells by scouts, and ended the program with a Yoga session.

All students and staff benefited to end racism and build peace from the program initiated by the scouts. More than 250 people benefited and got education from the awareness program to build peace.

I learned to organize and team skills to organize such an awareness program. I also learned to do yoga after participating in the event.
