International Day of Peace
The day is observed all over the world as a peace day. It is important for the students (young nation builders) to be aware of the significance of the day.
Location: Zunglen Primary School, Mongar Dzongkhag The day started with lighting of butter lamp by the principal followed by National anthem and long life prayer for His Majesty. We also did a short meditation and we had our senior most teacher talk on the importance of the day. Later, we did the following activity : -Distribution of face mask -Nature song by grade six student -Photo session After lunch, we also did a Earthquake mock drill which was coordinated by school disaster management.
By observing todays day, the students became aware of its significance.
