International Day of Peace was celebrated at Onggar Extended classroom, Gortshom Primary School, Lhuentse on 21st September, 2019.

All the teachers, scouts, ECCD facilitators and parents gathered in the assembly ground at 8:00 am.

Scouts leader shared the importance of the day and did short mindfulness meditation for peaceful and successful conduct of the day. Then he read the message sent by BSA (Message from UN Secretary General)

Then we gathered in the hall to witness main event of the day. That was debate on “Climate Change Affects Our Lives”  and all the participants were awarded prizes.

Finally organizer shared consequences of climate change and possible activities we could do to adapt climate change.
