The International Day of Peace is observed around the world each year on 21st September. Established in 1981 by unaninous United Nations resolution , Peace Day provides a blobally shates date to all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contrinute to building a culture of peace. it is he day to reflect what has achieved so far and what needs to be addressed to buld peace. This year Peace Day theme is: "Shaping Peace Together" Unlike past years, this year the entire nations are engaged in fighting against the COVI-19. Many people have lost lives to the disease, many are suffering and many are feared for disease. This year Peace Day is a day to pray for the lost lives for the swift rebirth and to pray for the scientist to quickly come wih the cmvaccine. The scouts pays tributes to the frontliners across the world not only to the Bhutanese through anthoogy. May guardian deities bless and protect His Majesty the king and the peole of Bhutan from the disease and people across the globe struggling against the disease.
