In order to expand the production yield of paddy, effective weeding is vital. The community of Sertena cultivate paddy for self-consumption. What they dearth is man power to do the agricultural activities. 10 cubs, 2 teachers and 3 community women volunteered to do weeding for one of the underprivileged family of two members.

Total of 17 persons did their weeding starting from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. This project helped realize the cubs why it is necessary to render their services to family who lack manpower to do agricultural activities. On the other hand, it taught the family positive impact of volunteering services done by the cubs of Sertena PS.
