As at today, there are over four million cases of COVID 19 globally, resulting in over three hundred thousand deaths. Borno state, the state hit hardest by the activities of Non- State Armed Groups, the first index case was confirmed in April and already, over 356 people have tested positive for the virus in less than three weeks. The precondition in the state is that, a large chunk of the population lives either in crowded IDP camps or saturated host communities, where basics of life are in short supply and more, clean drinking water. These conditions represent a blueprint for fast and wispread of the virus.

Outcome 1: Households should know and understand the stages to prevent oneself from cocid-19
Outcome 2: Selected vulnerable communities have hand washing facilities mounted at strategic locations and the number of people washing hands at the desired frequency have been increased significantly, thereby reducing spread.
Outcome 3: Selected communities have increased knowledge and awareness about COVID 19 and what they must do to stay safe.
