Railway, Opening remark by Mr. Khalid ADDI chief National Commr. Key highlights of Scouting and guiding Activity in Assam and Northeast by Mr. A.K. Absar Hazarika ACS retired, SCC,Assam Inauguration of the Webinar by Hon'ble Education minister of Assam Dr. RanojPegu. The entire world believes Scout have a sustainable education. The largest youth movement is giving the massive contribution to sustainable development goal across the world.

The biggest problem in our country (India) is Poverty,hunger and education.
SDGs goal 4. Quality education. Scouting brought in quality education right from the time it came into it's existence.
Goal no. 10 Reduced inequalities. Goal no.11 Build sustainable cities and communities.
What is Scouts for SDGs?
It is a mobilization of 50 million scouts that leverage the scout Youth Programme and the Movements initiatives under the Better World Framework, including the flagship Messengers of peace, to raise awareness and take action towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
Scouting enables young people to be active global citizens.
Education is key to the achievement of Sustainable development.
How will Scouts for SDGs work?
INSPIRE
Young people to become active global citizens by offering them education, training and learning opportunities through Scouting to explore and advocate for sustainable development.
ENABLE
Young people with the tools and information to develop key sustainable development competencies, while also building the capacity of National Scout Organisations to offer quality non formal educational experience.
DELIVER
Young people with competencies for the SDGs that create local actions connected to the SDGs through community service and development projects service and development projects that are implemented as part of the Scout Youth Programme and Scout initiatives within the Better World Framework.
