140 cub scouts answered the call of being Messengers of Peace by submitting their original artworks for an MoP card design contest with the theme "Messengers Of Peace starts with me!" The contest was organized by Hunghom District, Kowloon Region, Hong Kong in Apr-May 2016. Cubs were competing against artists in the same age levels and entries were judged based on their creativity, originality, color usage and the messages carried. What's more! These city kids who participated in the contest were committed to at least an hour of service each as "Messenger of Peace" at home, altogether contributed to a total of 250 service hours. Variety of service included: washing dishes, changing bedsheets, cleaning floors, babysitting young brothers and sisters, chatting with grandparents on the phone, helping laundry and grocery etc. An award ceremony and gathering will be held on 25 Jun 2016. Winners will receive trophies, medals and certificates respectively, as well as the beautiful MoP badges.
