HOME DELIVERY SERVICE PROJECT DURING COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

HOME DELIVERY SERVICE PROJECT DURING COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

Special Home Delivery Service project was initiated during the COVID-19 lockdown in Kohima, Nagaland inorder to make groceries available to the people living in the outskirts of the city and for those living far away from grocery stores and markets. This project was mainly started with an objective to let people stay at home and stay safe from the global pandemic (COVID-19). This project helped around 70 families in Kohima to get essential groceries and food items when public transport facilities were restricted during the lockdown. This project was a grand success as we could reach out to people and make them aware of the Scouting movement besides the home delivery service. This project was made possible with the help of one of my Rover Scout who owns a Grocery Store, who had made grocery available for delivery and with the help of Rover Scouts we could successfully complete this project.
