5th National Scouts Day was celebrated along with His Majesty's 39th birth anniversary at Sherubling Central School, Trongsa, Bhutan. The event was marked in order to celebrate Patron's Birthday and keep Scouting program alive in our country.

This year around 150 Scouts from 6 diffrent schools particiapted along with 20 Scout Leaders. Awarding of National Scouts Service award was also presented to three energetic and young leaders who had immensely contributed to the development of scouting and scouting related activities in our country. Chief District Education Officer of Trongsa was awarded with Messenger of Peace scarf. I along with one of the teacher has been awared with green MoP scarves for contributing service hours in scout.org.

The event saw gathering of District sector heads and public. Programs like march past, mini olympics, bon fire and cultural programs were initiated by Youth Leaders to commemorate the National Scouts Day.
