#HeForShe awareness campaign in Bangladesh

HeForShe is the United Nation’s global solidarity movement for gender equality. UN HeForShe invites people around the world to stand together as equal partners to craft a shared vision of a gender equal world and implement specific, locally relevant solutions for the good for all of humanity. We some rover scouts from Economical Open Scout Group (Bangladesh Scouts) research about HeForShe and relativity with WOSM. Then we made decision to work for it. As WOSM expected that 50 million of Scouts will commit to HeForShe by 2020. Then we started to do some awareness campaign and make commitment for gender equality. At first we did the campaign at our scout group. Then we did the campaign at regional scout camp. We arranged it on some of our special occasion or events. In this campaign we follow the instruction of WOSM & HeForShe from ACTION KIT. At first we give the scouts information about HeForShe. Then we give them information about their work and their goals. We discussed with them about relativity of WOSM and HeForShe , also about WOSM commitment goals. We arrange many activities related HeForShe. We give them information about how it relevant with SDG. After all of this we make them to do commitment for HeForShe. Every Scouts signed to the commitment sheet by their name, gender, country and E-mail. We are still working on it. We want that 1.8 million scouts from Bangladesh Scouts will commit for HeForShe. Thank you. Happy Scouting. I am #HeForShe.
