Heatwave Relief: Hydration for Health and Hope
Heatwaves pose serious health risks, especially for vulnerable communities. This initiative aimed to prevent dehydration and heat-related illnesses by providing free juices and saline while raising awareness on heat safety. Through small acts of care, we hope to inspire others to support their communities in times of need.
On April 15, 2025, a team of 10 volunteers set up hydration stations in three busy areas of Dhaka, distributing 1,200 servings of juice and saline to help people stay hydrated during the heatwave. Alongside the distribution, we also shared awareness of heat safety and prevention.
This initiative reinforced the importance of community care and social responsibility. We hope it inspires others to take action to support public health during extreme weather conditions.
This initiative showed that hydration is crucial in preventing heat-related illnesses. Small efforts can make a big community impact, and raising awareness helps people stay safe. It also highlighted the power of teamwork and how simple acts of kindness can inspire others to help.
