Health For All : A Scout-led Free Medical Camp

Our motivation for organizing a free medical camp came from my desire to serve our community and address healthcare disparities. We worked with local healthcare providers to organize this project. We wanted to make our community more improved than we got.
We worked with local healthcare providers and organizations to identify a suitable location and secure necessary resources, such as medical equipment and supplies. We also recruited volunteers to assist with various tasks. We played a crucial role in coordinating the activities and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Helped in distributing supplies, and directing patients to the appropriate medical professionals.
The impact of this free medical camp was significant, especially for those who do not have access to regular healthcare. This camp provided basic medical care and screenings, such as blood pressure checks, glucose tests, and immunizations, that helped to identify and prevent health problems.
We gained valuable learning experiences from organizing the free medical camp.; Learned about project management skills, including planning, organization, and time management. The scout can also develop leadership and teamwork skills by coordinating volunteers and working with healthcare professionals. We gained knowledge about health care and preventative measures by working with medical professionals and participating in the screenings and treatment processes.
