The great Ambubachi Mela started from 21st June and ended on 26th June in the Kamakhaya Temple, Guwahati, Assam. The great festive started on 21st June itself with the closing of the temple doors and  accomodation of the devotees ariving to visit the Kamakhya Temple and the festive  ends on  26th june with the opening of the temple doors. Here, we render support to the devotees coming to visit the temple by providing them guidance, medical assistance and manahing the huge crowd. We were supported by Assam Govt., Assam Police, CRPF, Civil Defence, NCC, NSS, Kamakhya Devalaya Committee etc. There were total of 350 students in The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Assam including our Leaders, Mr. Utpal Das (State Commissioner Youth) and Mr. Hemanto Das (District Orgainizing Commissioner). Per member worked for 8 hours depending on their shifts. The total number of days of service we provided was 6 days. We duly enjoyed our service and hope to serve in the coming years.
