HANDS THAT SERVE, HEARTS THAT CARE 🌿✨
We were inspired to start this project because we wanted to bring happiness and comfort to the elderly in an old age home, who often feel lonely and neglected. Hearing about their struggles, losing loved ones, or being abandoned by their families made us realize how important it is to offer care, support, and companionship. As rovers, we wanted to serve selflessly, spread smiles, and make a positive difference in their lives, just like they deserve.
We executed our project with teamwork and planning. Our rover crew collected and distributed food, drinks, clothes, and other essentials for the elders in the old age home. We spent time with the elderly, listened to their stories, and tried to bring them happiness and support. We also celebrated the birthdays of two women, treating them like our grandparents. Our aim was to spread smiles, share care, and bring comfort to their lives.
Through this project, we learned the value of compassion, empathy, and selfless service. Spending time with the elderly helped us understand their struggles and the importance of care and attention. We realized that even small acts, like sharing food, talking, or celebrating birthdays, can bring great happiness. Most importantly, we learned that serving others with love and patience creates lasting bonds and leaves a positive impact on both them and ourselves.
