A Hand for Hunger
This was my Eagle Scout project,
The goal of the project was to raise as much possible food & funds for the El Dorado County food bank and to build a magazine rack for their foyer.
In total about two forklift pallets full of food and other goods were gathered and dropped off at the food bank along with the magazine rack.
The project lasted a total of 102.51 hours (close estimate) and went very smoothly although there were some hiccups such as transport issues and just general stuff like that.
We got wayyyyy more food than I thought we would which was good, however it did again create issues with transportation etc.
very happy with how everything turned out and I encourage others to host a food drive aswell in your community! It does not have to be a huge one or anything and you can make it as straightforward as you want!
have a good day and stay healthy!
Best Regards
