The United Nations declared every 21st of September is "The International Day of Peace".   The theme for this year 2019 is  "Climate Action for Peace".                                                         In the celebration of the Day of Peace, Myanmar Scout cooperated with Brainworks Scouts in the events of planting trees. We, combination of scouts, students and teachers, accomplished this event on the 7th of September, 2019 to create awareness for our community by planting saplings at the HlawKar reservoir area on account of "Trees For Peace". The importance of combating climate change as a way to protect the environment and promote peace through out the world under the umbrella of "Messengers of Peace" program and leading a positive change in our community. #climateaction #peaceday #MyanmarScout #GrowMoreTrees_KeepYangonGreen
