GrowMoreTrees, KeepTaunggyiClean

A group of scouts, led by Ms. Wut Yee Phyu who is a Head of School and Scout Leader, from Brainworks- Taunggyi Campus went to the Taung Lay Lone Research Centre of Taunggyi, Southern Shan State, Myanmar on 14th Sep 2019 to do the planting activity in the celebration of the International Day of Peace. They, total of 42 members, together planted 100 saplings of different types of plants.

Shan State is one of the mountainous regions in Myanmar and was famous for its beautiful mountains and scenery which were totally painted with greenish trees. But these days, people were less noticed and less care about the trees. But they usually talk about the climate changes that are happening these days. So start from this activity, they would like to create more awareness concerning to the climate change and creating peace within ourselves and in our society. This would be a great impact and awareness to public to care more about trees, i.e about climate changes, and about peacefully living.
