Green Campus Initiative for a Sustainable Future
We were inspired to start this project to support the SDGs by promoting environmental sustainability. Our goal was to create a greener campus, raise awareness about conservation, and contribute to a sustainable future.
First, I explained to my unit members about global warming and climate change. I was able to convince them that we can contribute to protecting the environment by planting trees. Then we bought many saplings. We planted them in various vacant lots on our campus. We still take care of them regularly.
Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. We also realized how small actions, like planting trees, can contribute significantly to achieving global sustainability goals.
