The National Scout Day was celebrated at Samcholing Higher Secondary School under Drakten block in Trongsa, Bhutan on 21.02.2020. It marked the first scouting activity in the school and the community for the year 2020. Preparation began two weeks ago and the publics were also invited to grace the celebration. 

The school was kept as the center for celebration and was attended by the high dignataries from the districts. Students and teachers from two other schools (Kuengarabten Primary School and Samcholing Primary School) also took part in the programme including several villagers. 

The modus operandi of the programme was to advertise and promote the very essence of the scouting in the schools and the communities at the proximity by displaying the art of scouting to the villagers. Another motive was to make the school as one hundred percent scouts.
