GMC VOLUNTEER
We started this volunteer service to serve our nation, promote One Nation, One People, and support His Majesty the King's vision of a united and peaceful Bhutan. We aimed to serve the public, support the GMC 108 Chorten Programme, and practise the values of unity, compassion, teamwork, and selfless service.
As leadership-trained Scouts, we volunteered in the GMC 108 Chorten Programme by handling materials, decorating the ceremony grounds, setting up tents, serving food and water, packing items, and cleaning the surroundings. Through these activities, we demonstrated teamwork, leadership, discipline, and dedication to serving our nation.
This volunteer service contributed to the successful implementation of the GMC 108 Chorten Programme by providing essential support to the organisers and public. It strengthened our spirit of unity, teamwork, and community participation while promoting the values of selfless service, leadership, and national responsibility.
Through this volunteer service, we learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, discipline, and cooperation. We also understood the value of selfless service, unity, and responsibility towards our community and nation. Most importantly, we learned that even small contributions can make a meaningful difference in society.
