This is an initiative of introducing our scouts between 11 to 14 y/o to charity activities. It would be easier if the adults organized but the idea is the young scouts identify the problems in our comunity, foccus in one problem, find solutions, develope an event or campain to get resources to help people they choose to. After some weeks visiting charity organizations in our city the guys finally choose what institute they want to help and have decided how to do it. A scout challenge between 5 scout troops in our city will be heald on october 24th/2015 where they will organize 8 fun games and the registration fee is a box of milk, or non-perishable food or money (to be decided) to deliver to an organization called "Casas Andre Luiz" - a charity organization located in our neighborhood that helps families and people of all ages for a new beginning. People who lost everything and need some months of help to restart their lives. That organization offers psychological care, dental care, food, clothes, rooms to sleep but also teach these people with several skills such as woodwork, carpentry, seam and other in order to give them another chance.
