George Town Cubs and Scouts will be continuing to work on their Messengers of Peace badge work over the next few weeks at Scubs (Cubs & Scouts). Our project will be supporting the RSPCA especially with the cooler weather coming they are going to need our help with food and bedding etc. to help with the influx of orphaned and dumped animals. Scouts and Cubs that are willing to participate in this project will be collecting items of Pet Food, or clean usable bedding, washing detergent, disinfectant or kitty litter etc. something that could be of use to any of the animals at the Launceston RSPCA shelter. We will be learning more about what it means to be a Messenger of Peace and how we can help to make the world a better place. This program will run over a couple of weeks and will finish up with a visit to the RSPCA on the 8th of April for those that can make it to donate the goods.
