Venturing BSA scouts conducted a cleanup of the wetland near the newly built Galveston Sea Scout Base. Trash such as plastics, cardboard, Styrofoam, metals, and other materials which could endanger the wetlands were removed and sorted for further recycling. The scouts were able to free the wetland of these materials which could cause this ecological area to collapse.
