Hi Everyone! Happy Scouting!

During this Pandemic covid-19 , everyone must follow  standard procedures :-

1. Avoid the crowded places

2. Maintaning physical distancing whenever possible

3. Washing hands frequently

4. Using adequate personal protective equipment (face mask).

But there is no reason as a scout we can not do any positive activities and to spread awareness. Rover Scouts from Malaysian Universities and Colleges has conducted their first webinar series on 18th to 20th December 2020. The webinar series was live using Microsoft Team platform and KLKM’s Facebook. The Future of Energy: Scout Go Solar theme was led by Hasnina Haji Abdul Rahman, HQ Commissioners Rover Scouts Malaysian Universities and Colleges, Scout Go Solar.

A total number of 70 participants from leaders and rover scouts has attended this program.  As the project head, I really hope that this program can spread the awareness of renewable energy and the activities towards that among rovers scouts and comunities. They have to do spread the awareness by using social media accounts, a task and answeres online quizzez.

The objective of this program is to give awareness regarding Scout Go Solar. Early stage to develop the creative thinking about solar activities starting January 2021. I want the rover scouts to be creative creating a better world. They have times to design and plans for project communities.  Speakers of this program are Madam Nor Azlin Binti Mat Noor for Sun is Life topic, Mr Zahiran Bin Hamzah for Impact of the Sun on Health and Environment, and both Malaysian Scout Ambassadors, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mustaffa Ibrahim talks about Use of Solar Energy and Miss Lau Hooi Lin shared on Go Solar! topic.  

The future of energy Scout Go Solar aims to provide knowledge and awareness in dealing with climate action, energy and to create a better daily life. What is Solar Energy? What is Sun? What is renewable energy and non renewable energy? Is solar radiations can harm humans? What about UV rays? These are the questions that can be explain in these programs.

Rover scouts should also provide knowledge dissemination to family members, friends, and subsequently the community. It also aims at spreading awareness as indirectly. By using social media platform,I really hope these programs can help spreading knowlege about Scout Go Solar, beneficts  of renewable energy and a alots of more positives activities. Everyone works from home,  these activities can give good vibes among the familys members and they can have fun togather. They is a lot of fun activities that can be done togather especially among the rovers scout family members.

This program succeds because of my great teammates, Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia and  also Rover Scouts from Malaysian Universities and Colleges.

They really play a good roles and help me a lots before and after the programs . Thank you very much!

The participants: the leaders and rover scouts who always stay tune in fronts of laptops or mobile phones. Keep asking questions if they do not understand. Next project to be conducted by my teams Scout Go Solar is in January 2021.
