These days a safety heating system was supplied most of home but some of home have used coal briquettes until now. So our troop has served for senior citizen who lives alone, the couple of old people, a child head of household every year

We also have planned this voluntary service and gained a foothold from March. It is first plan to raise fund in coin bank for coal briquettes. My troop members have gained fun in 4 months. Through our coin bank and donation, we inquired cost of briquettes and we could buy briquettes for 5 households.

Actual date of volunteer service was 7th of December Saturday, students from school children to high school student gathered together early in the morning. To serve briquettes, we wore apron, arm protector, so we could feel that we gathered together for volunteer service. We are heading for planned households with a truck which was carrying briquettes. Most of houses were very difficult to find and also to enter the street corner.

Because of this difficult, we were carrying by ourselves from a truck to house. All of adult in the town thought our volunteer service was very praiseworthy. Because small child even were brimming over with enthusiasm. Briquettes which were carried by us can be used for two months. Our troop hopes these briquettes will make warm households from this cold winter.
