Full Love Charity Lunch 2020
We are taught to serve the elders during Chinese New Year. As so, I voluntary to join this service in order to serve the elders.
The service took place in an old folk home. 8am, we reached the old folks home to take attendance. Firstly, we cleaned the surrounding of the dining area to prevent accidents from happening. After that, we helped prepare the food trays and arrange them neatly. When the elders arrived, we served them with joy. We served them food and drinks and fulfil their needs for them to be happy. After they finished eating, we cleaned the tables and make sure it is clean. 3pm, we went home happily.
The elders were happy after our service. They were able to enjoy the warmth of Chinese New Year and thus enjoyed their time.
I've learned to care about the elders and thoroughly understand the culture of Chinese New Year.
