Free Medical Camp
I organized this free medical camp to tackle rising health issues like diabetes, cholesterol, and high blood pressure among our youth, which I’ve noticed are exacerbated by excessive phone and computer use.
Partnership: Collaborated with the hospital and lab for medical staff and equipment.
Publicity: Promoted the event through flyers, social media, community announcements, and personal visits to all homes in the locality to distribute notices.
Logistics: Selected a venue, arranged medical booths, and procured supplies.
Event Day: Inauguration ceremony, registration, consultations, and tests by medical professionals
Organizing the free medical camp taught me the importance of community collaboration in addressing health issues. It reinforced how crucial accessible healthcare and preventive education are in tackling conditions like diabetes, cholesterol, and high blood pressure, especially among the youth. The event also highlighted the positive impact of proactive health initiatives and the value of continuous community engagement.
