Founder's Day: Being Active in Community Service

I was inspired to do this as I usually saw the school uncle and aunties cleaning the school on the daily basis, and I thought about how to help them. They are old, yet they countinue to keep the school premises clean. I than decided to help them and give them a rest while me and some of my other friends clean the school I got a few people to join me and we went to the school OM to propose this plan. He agreed and we decided to execute the plan on 10 and 11 april.
10th April We gathered in front of the pe store and discussed on the Management of manpower and planned for two hours. The plan was that one patrol would be at the pole rack sending out the poles, while two patrols would transport the poles and the final patrol was to put the poles at the final destination. My patrol was assigned to sort out the poles at the pole rack. Through this, I learnt that if we work together, the job will be easier and faster.
11th April We gathered in the canteen and met with the school OM. We discussed on the allocation of the cleaning of the canteen and the hall. We helped to wipe and disinfect the canteen tables and chairs. This was meant to be the job of the old uncle and aunties cleaning our school everyday. By doing this, we are easing their workload, so they can take a day off and rest. we also helped to clean the school hall and set it up for the exams by arranging the tables.
This made me learn to appreciate the uncles and aunties that are helping us to clean the area
