As part of the Singapore Scouts Association Founder's Day: Being Active in Community initiative, the scouts under the guidance of the Scout Leaders coordinated with the school Operations Manager (OM) to help in various jobs around the school on selected Saturdays during our weekly Scout CCA sessions.

We observed that many of the support staff were quite elderly and a lof ot their tasks could be quite physical in nature. Mayflower Scouts thus decided to go the extra mile and make the contributions a termly one.

The plans for this term were to (1) assist in the monthly wipe-down/clean-up of the canteen (due to COVID situation) and the clean-up of the school hall to assist the Support Staff prior to the setup of the hall for examinations; (2) assist in the clearing of heavy CCA equipment from various CCAs for bulk refuse removal in school.

For this project, the planned and executed programme was as follows:

• 7th April - 2hr (planning and meet up with OM to discuss on the project for 10th Apr)
• 10th April - 4hr (Execution of Day 1 of service-learning activity)
• 14th April - 2hr (planning and meet up with OM to discuss on the project for 17th Apr)
• 17th April - 4hr (Execution of Day 2 of service-learning activity)
