FOUNDATION DAY- WALKATHON & CLEANLINESS DRIVE
The scouts and guides of St.Augustine's Day School Scouts & Guides Group were highly inspired from the Scout Guide Week celebration- an initiative taken by The Bharat Scouts & Guides for their celebration of the 75th Foundation Day.
On the occasions of 75th Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day our 27 Scouts and Guides members along with four teachers and service staff went out for road rally which has been called Walkathan. where they promoted a plastic free environment in the area and went on to pick up plastic bottles, chips packet, biscuit packets etc. After the rally we had visited Barrackpore Police Station to met the Officer Incharge and honored him with a Special badge of 75th BSG Foundation Day.
They learnt that together they can contribute towards a greater change in the environment and help people understand.
