FOOD DRIVE FOR THE NEEDY- Diwali Special Drive
I was highly inspired from the Robinhood Army, a zero-fund organisation that provides food to the needy. Its motto "SERVE THE HUNGRY CITIZEN" motivated me a lot to work and do something for the society.
I am a scout and I belong to North 24 Parganas ( Barrackpore Local Association). In order to spend a fruitful diwali, we arranged some sweet packets, chocolates, candles and diwas for the people of a brick field in barrackpore. I've been a Robin for almost a year now and it feels amazing to be the reason behind someone's smile. 💚

Location of food drive:- Brick Field, Monirampore, Barrackpore, Kolkata, West Bengal
We were able to help out needy workers of the brick fields wiht sweet packets and chocolates alnong with some diwas and candles to spend a fruitful diwali with them.
I've learnt that when you donate food or feed the needy for atleast a day or two, the amount of satisfaction you get from within is immeasurable. You also get to motivate many of the people living around you so that some day in the future they can also do something for the society.
