FOOD DRIVE - FOOD FOR THOUGHT - SOCIAL SERVICE PROJECT
A social service fame by the name ‘Food for thought’ started three years ago in Clifton Scouts Unit. In this, we collected surplus food and distributed it among the needy. This time, however, Clifton Scouts Group achieved a milestone by collecting raw food (Rashan). Collection, sorting, packaging and distribution took more than 6 days where we targeted more than 350 ISMAILI FAMILIES and distributed Rashan consisting of
1) Oil - atleast 1 LTR
2) flour - 5 KG
3) sugar - 1 KG
4) pulses - 2 KG
5) Tea - one pack
6) snacks
7) Rooh afza
8) Rice
Each Rashan bag was atleast 10 KG.
We hope that our unit will participate in such activities with great enthusiasm in future, to give back to the society.
