Food Distribution Among Flood Effected People

The Bharat Scouts & Guides, N.F. Railway Badarpur District Association arranged the lunch for the people affected by flood on 27th June 2022 at katakhal railway station in association with the Commercial Department of BPB. All total 20 rovers, and unit leaders and the staffs of the commercial dept were present in the relief service.

It was a critical condition at katakhal .The flood hit so hard that people cameup to the railway station for shelter. We reached there and provide them lunch and drinking water as there was scarcity of drinking water. They were very happy with the service we provided to them. All the district official cooperated and took a active part in the relief service.

There were about more than 1000 people in the katakhal station where we fed about 800 people. Everyone cooperated with us and the relief service was conducted smoothly. This showcased active engagement in food relief efforts that were taken by the organisation that has been proven to contribute towards the benefaction of the affected individuals within the region while indulging through meaningful service actions.

Small initiative makes a Greater Change and highlighting the role and responsibilities of scouts and guides in the region while aiding the process of relief operations and coordinating with concerned authorities and agencies in specific.
