Flood Relief Distribution 2024

During the 2024 flood, seeing thousands of people stranded without food, water, or shelter deeply moved us. As scouts committed to serving others, we felt a strong responsibility to act. Our motivation came from the urgent need to support vulnerable families—especially women, children, and the elderly—who were left helpless in submerged areas. With limited time and resources, our team was determined to deliver emergency relief and bring hope to those in crisis.
As the water receded, we shifted from rescue to recovery. Bondhon Mukto Scouts Group Feni, Sonagazi set up relief points at shelters and affected areas. Scouts fairly distributed food, clothes, and hygiene kits, ensuring no family—especially in remote areas—was left behind. Their teamwork and training ensured smooth and effective execution.
Through this experience, we learned the value of coordination and preparedness. Working closely with the local administration, fire service, and volunteers taught us how collaboration can maximize impact, even with limited resources. We also realized that empathy, quick action, and teamwork are essential in disaster response. This project strengthened our confidence and skills for future emergencies.
