On 7th of November’14 we the members of Kanchrapara District Association celebrated the Flag Day or Foundation Day of The Bharat Scouts & Guides in our District with Cubs,Bulbuls,Scouts,Guides,Rovers,Rangers & also with the District Officials. The motto of ours for this year was- Standing behind the needy.With this purpose we the members of Kanchrapara District Association went to the Kanchrapara Workshop with the stickers sent by the National Headquarters. The purpose of our campaign was to earn some money by selling those stickers and use those earned money for the better prospective of the needy childs. We tried to reach almost every corner of our workshop with that message and every worker extended their hand of co-operation for that noble cause.Almost 50 members of our District Association took part in this noble cause and had earned some amount of money which at present we are investing for the better activities of the needy childrens.Being a member of such an organization we feel very proud to be a part of such a noble cause which shows the true responsibility as a member of the Scouting fraternity.
