FIRST RESPONDER TRAINING FOR THE COMMUNITY
Labuan - King Scout Brotherhood Federal Territory of Labuan (PPRMWPL) in collaboration with JKKK Lajau and Healthy Communities Perkasa Negara (KOSPEN) organized 'Community Health Program' held at Balai Raya Kampung Lajau, Labuan on 3 April 2016. Among the activities activities carried out on that day is a fitness gym, free health screenings and of course the First Aid / CPR community during the day.
Lajau is the first village that received a good initiative program. A total of 30 participants from Kampung Lajau have participated in courses First Aid / CPR communities held in the village hall. Trainer for this course is Mr. Hasanuddin Beddu, he was an assistant Senior Medical Officer at Hospital Labuan and also one of the members of King Scout Brotherhood Federal Territory of Labuan. The purpose of this program is to sensitize participants on the human body, the types of injuries and bleeding and knowledge of first aid.
The essence of which is contained in this course are CPR for adults and children, how to bandage a wound bundle and so on. The closing ceremony of the program was inaugurated by the President of the State Council FT Labuan, Dato 'Sri Hj. Mohd Alias bin Hj. Abdul Rahman. He was accompanied by the Chairman of Kampung Lajau, Mr. Mohamad Yakob, State Chief Scout Commissioner FT Labuan Skip Hong Heng Chee together with Skip Mohd Irfan Abdullah, King Scout Brotherhood Federal Territory of Labuan. In his speech, Dato 'Sri Alias thanked and congratulated the JKKK Kampung Lajau you for accepting my invitation King Scout Brotherhood Federal Territory of Labuan in organizing this program. He hoped that such a program can be carried out in other villages around the state so that more people could be exposed to knowledge that would aid FT Labuan.
In addition, the closing ceremony was also enhanced with the presentation of certificates to the participants, delivery of 'First Aid Kit' to the JKKK Kampung Lajau, prize sweepstakes winner and souvenirs to the guests invited by the JKKK Lajau. Finally, a presentation of souvenirs to the participants fully sponsored by Tupperware Brands Labuan branch also graced the occasion. The ceremony ended with a photography session with the participants and invited guests.
