This isn't a Scout project, but a Scout is always prepared to volunteer and provide service. ACE Society of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) organised an event, Dollars for Dumbells, to raise funds for Lotus Care home that has recently burned down in Semenyih. The event was a collaboration with UNMC Fitness Club, to promote healthy living and a healthy lifestyle by challenging students and staff of UNMC to complete a particular regime of exercises, with friends being there to support, cheer and increase the challenged amounts. I volunteered as a First Aider on behalf of ACE Society while Fitness Club provided another to help monitor and be on stand by should there by injuries during the challenge.
