Feel the PEACE within, so you spread it globally.

International Peace Day has always inspired me to work harder at an individual level in order to spread peace globally. It is the time where every individual needs to come up with various methods and ideas in promoting peace in the world. I personally feel that observing this day plays a very important role to trigger everybody on spreading peace. One can spread peace only if one has peace within. Therefore i felt the need to let everyone feel peace within and conducted this simple project.
The project was implemented in one of the Schools in capital city of Bhutan. To mark this day with a theme ‘Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world’ , I conducted a short project which includes the following activities: 1. Shared the brief history of international peace day. 2. Delivered speech on International peace day by one of the student. 3. Conducted meditation on loving kindness and compassion. 4.shared the commitment by 20 participants.
All the participants were benefited by the project as every individual got an opportunity to feel peace at heart during a meditation on loving kindness and compassion. I distributed the selfie poster to all and Made all individual to read the commitments given on posters. Since the programe requires every individuals participation , all were benefited by the effect of meditation. It helped them to feel peace and spread peace .
Conducting this project has given me lots of knowledge and informations on importance of PEACE. Since 2019 , the world is suffering from the deadly disease and many people lost their life. Today was an opportunity for all the participants to feel the importance of loving kindness and compassion which enhances their ability to spread peace in the world. Through the meditation , all the participants could literally feel the peace within.
