Eschew Plastic
Plastic is one of the most used substances. It has become a necessity in our lives and provides us ease and convenience. The plastic bags is non biodegradable and is hazardous to all life forms on the planet. Plastic pollution is ruining our lives on Earth. So we must take major steps to prevent it. So I was inspired by my teachers and scouts and guides to avoid the usage of plastic to reduce plastic pollution and make the planet a better place to live.
Through this action I came across many facts related to plastic and it's hazardous nature. I realised that plastic takes millions of years for its degradation. I learnt that the world consumes almost 1trillion plastic bags every year. Also plastic bags have lead to unnatural death of birds and aquatic life. So I learnt the importance of avoiding plastic usage for the well being of our planet.
